- Keep debris and objects at least two feet from the outdoor unit. Doing so will ensure there’s enough airflow.
How Do I Know When It’s Time to Replace My Furnace?
If properly maintained then your furnace should last around 20 to 25 years. If you’re experiencing problems, and your furnace is less than 12 years old, Blue Mountain Services recommends repairs. However, there are circumstances where replacement is the best option. For instance, if the unit is over 12 years old, there is little point in spending more than half the cost of replacement on repairs.
